Keithlyn B. Laws Says : |
The best thing about UOW is definately its atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and relaxed. You never feel very stressed and under pressure, unlike other universities. There are many great places to study around the grounds, the gardens are beautiful and there are a number of animals around the place just walking around casually.
The university isn't a very large one so you always run into people you know.

Yu B. Visual Arts & Graphic Design Says : |
The campus is absolutely beautiful, probably the most attractive university I've been to. Also the buildings are very well set up, and are all arranged quite closely, it's probably a 15 minute walk from one side of the uni to the other. There are also many food and coffee shops on campus, making it easy to grab a little something between classes.

Mel B. Arts (Communication and Media Studies) Says : |
Initially, my mum had always tried to encourage me to work hard in high school so I could go to uni... at uni they have ducks that live in the ponds and rabbits that hop around campus... that truely was my motivation. Now being there for 5 years the student engagement activities is by far the best thing - leadership programs/clubs and societies are where friendships are built, you learn and grow and begin developing an edge within your career path. Oh did I mention the Unibar haha

My Uni is Beautiful. When walking outside to take a break from study you can completely destress and lay on the duck pond lawn for a while. There are lots of trees and greenery everywhere which makes chill out time with friends very relaxing
