Alice B. Education (Early Childhood)/ B. Human Services Says : |
its a bit like a rural school in the way that teachers have more time for you they know who you are and which class of theirs your in.
You get to know people in your course and in other courses. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help. There are great resources and i absolutely love this uni! I went to UQ for a year and switched to USC havent even thought about being close to regreting my decision i love it!

Rodge B. Science Says : |
This uni was small, like a village almost. Everybody knew eachother, and if you were new - you got to know everybody REAl quick!. Best thing though would have to be the staff, not only did they know their subjects well, they were very approachable and would happily answer your questions and provide useful feedback - which was not the case at JCU.

Kelli Doctor of Philosophy Says : |
The best thing about USC is the interaction you can have with your lecturers and tutors due to the small size of the university. It's much more personal...

Kate B. Business Says : |
Its size. It has about 5000 students. Which means class sizes are relatively small, so you can get more one on one time with lecturers, and smaller groups can also enhance learning, as there is more chance for discussion and sharing of ideas/views/opinions.

Krysten B. Nursing Says : |
In general, the best thing i have found about uni is the fact that I am around like minded people. At high school i found that many of the people didn't want to be there, they had little interest in learning. Actually most of them have jobs now; not careers - just jobs.
The university of the sunshine coast is also an extremely relaxed uni. in comparison to some of the other Uni's I have been to in Brisbane like Griffith or QUT, the modern design and landscaping of the uni is great.

Julian B. Communication Says : |
The tutors and lecturers are approachable and fewer students mean that you compete less for their time. The modern facilties and interesting architecture also make it a nice environment to be in. USC has a fantastic exchange program giving the opportunity to study overseas in many different institutions in many different countries. Although as I am aware most Universities have similar sorts of programs

Josh B. Clinical Exercise Science Says : |
The best thing is that compared to friends universities, there is no where near as many people so you get a lot more personal help from the lecturers and tutors. The sporting facilities are also some of the best i have experienced.
