Sarah B. Arts/B. Advertising & Marketing Communication Says : |
UC is a very down to earth university where the people (students, tutors and lecturers) don't have an air of arrogance your often find in tertiary institutions. One thing I loved about my course was its flexibility. I wasn't entirely convinced that I wanted to be in Advertising when I started my degree but doubling it with arts allowed me to settle into it easier and not lock me into one thing straight away. The course coordinators were particularly helpful and allowed me to make change to my degree so that I could get the most out of my education experience.

Alex B. of Public Relations Says : |
There are many positive aspects to study at UC mainly the practicality of the courses which I have found very focused on the future of graduates. UC also provides great opurtunities to socialise and has a relaxed atmospher creating a plesurable enviroment for students to study in. Support staff at the university are also very good with quality counciling and issues management services.

The amount of information you can get about the course you would like to do is great, and even though I am a local student, I have noticed that the uni does a great job catering for international students and their particular needs.

Ness B. Applied Science (Human Biology) Says : |
Laid back environment, yet very supportive academic staff. There's some excellent lecturers among the Applied Science/Exercise Science departments that are brilliant at what they teach and its surprising they're not being chased by the fancier universities.

Simon B. Environmental Science Says : |
The broad range of degree available from the vocational through to more academic. The small class size of my degree allows the lecturers to gain a personal intrest in more students, and the small campus size with large areas of free parking allow ease of commute and navigation.

Lauren B. Education (Early Childhood) Says : |
The best thing about UC was definitley the people that I met as well as the amenities available on campus. We had a great Student Union which provided us with a voice as well as plenty of fun things to do.

Jess B. Communication (Advertising/ Marketing) Says : |
The atmosphere. Everyone is there to learn and get their degree, but still have a blast on the way. There's always staff and student societies there to help you through anything. Sausage sizzles and events during the day are also fun! We also have free parking :)

Drew B. Architecture Says : |
i'm attending it!!!! haha but seriously. i dunno, i honestly think ANU is such a fantastic campus, beautiful parks and buildings at every turn. UC is old red brick crap buildings, 1 oval, a tiny spot of grass surrounded by concrete. nothing too special really, although they do make a nice soy cappuccino.

People, being a small campus so you get to know people more quicker, get to experience so many things (uni life, events run by uni or co-run with uni and community so on)
