Ranka B. Commerce Says : |
It offers a diverse rage of courses and options for alternative study. it has mentoring programs and an array of help facilities if you need assistance in anything. We have every thursday a free hour or so from 12-1pm for no classes and students to have a break, mingle and do what they please. On that same day we have markets at our uni, which are pretty cool.
Also i just love the events that we tend to have and the benefits us as students receive for just attending. For example for those students interested in the one movement concert, all you had to do was message a number that you wanted to go and you got a free ticket from our guild. Its a great and happy environment to come to everyday as well as very open and welcoming.

The atmosphere; very friendly, I feel at home at my university. Also the general theme on biology - best uni in the area for it, and the people here tend to reflect that. I also love the diversity of people here; hippies, muslims, business people etc all moving together, I love it.

Greers B. Law / B. Psychology Says : |
The campus. It doesn't feel snobby like UWA. ECU looks like is was designed by an architect on acid. I haven't been to the other campuses, but I find Murdoch's campushas a personality similar to mine. We know we're a great uni, we know we've got a great bunch of student's, but we aren't showing off. Quietly brilliant.

I've gone to both Murdoch and Curtin and I definatelly prefered Murdoch. I think I liked it because it felt more laid back. The Staff are fantastic and you can tell that they're teaching you something that they really love, which makes it much easier to learn.

Nat B. Education (Primary) Says : |
Little campus, get to know the students and teachers in your course really well. Majority of the teachers are really helpful and always there if you need help. I could have studied this course at the Murdoch Campus, which is a lot bigger as well as more social than the Rockingham campus, however i prefer the Rockingham campus as it's closer to home and a lot more intimate.

Sarah B. Science Says : |
I like the fact that Murdoch is a small uni but still has a good reputation for good teaching. All my lecturers have been excellent. They are all really helpful, especially if you are an external student, which I was for some of my units. The administration for the university is also very good. Their website is easy to use for enrolling, choosing units and getting the advice you need easily.

The what I would consider large Library, the lay-back attitude of students and staff. The environment within the University's grounds. I love the feeling of being surrounded by nature as opposed to a concrete jungle.

Dyanna B. Biological Science Says : |
Murdoch has the largest campus of any uni in Australia. There is an abundant amount of bush for hiking or bird watching. It's quite a peaceful environment in which to study.
