The Christian group/club on campus - Christian Union - a great way of meeting like-minded people and to really grow in our faith!
All the people are really friendly, it has an awesome feel about it. Theres a really good practical side to all the courses, it focusses on hands on experience which is great.
It's really relaxed and fun while being on the ball academically and a national leader. You can have fun and still be good. The weather is GREAT!
JCU is really good because you can pretty much always get a park, it is in Townsville and it is such a relaxing place to live - little to no traffic and everyone is just so laid back and friendly
Small univerity, so have 1-1 contact with all lecturers and tutors from your discipline and any other discipline you need to talk to.
I learn lots each day but some days are better than others.

It has a beautiful setting and a great feel slightly county although city
JCU is a relaxed uni + has a focus on indigenous welfare
Classes have small numbers, which allows a better approach to lecturers and tutors.
