jemma B. Teaching (Health & PE) Says : |
the best thing about my uni is that because it is in a rural area it is not as big in numbers compared to uni's in metro areas. which means that it has a more personal approach.. meaning that lecturers and or tutors have the time to speak to you if you hav questions/queries about assignments or work.

Dundas B. Social Science (Psychology) Says : |
It is hard to pick in all honesty, not because there is so many great things or bad things, but mainly just because everything just seems satisfactory. I would say certain members of the psychology department, in particular the professors.

Simone B. Pharmacy Says : |
It has a very country feel, beautiful scenery. everyone is very friendly and most of the students are from the country. there are few courses with over 100 students enrolled, this means better, informal relationships with lecturers and easier to get to know your classmates.
going out is great because of the small population of wagga compared to the city you are always bound to run into people you know. free on campus gym and outdoor pool. accomodation is cheap compared to inner melb or syd

Caitlin B. Equine Science Says : |
Its very practical based learning as opposed to based on academic and study.
Thier selection criteria also allows for people who come from an experienced background as opposed to a UAI based background, which in my case made this uni the only elidgable option as I did not complete enough units in year 12 to qualify for a UAI.

Chonte B. Nursing/ B. Clinical Practice (Paramedics) Says : |
The social side, CSU is quite a tight nit community especially if you live on campus, so there is always something happening to get involved with. Also the variety in courses CSU offers, a lot of them are not found in your mainstream unis and are rated the best of their type to study at CSU

Ash B. Social Science (Criminal Justice) Says : |
Laid back lifestyle in a rural atmosphere. Fantastic social life and smaller classes. I liked the way your lecturers would know your name and you were more than just a student number to them. Also came in handy when asking questions or needing extensions!
