Trey B. Business (International Business/Management) Says : |
Its grounds are super well maintained, never see rubbish lying around, its a beautiful campus, lecturers generally know all their students by name since its a small staff-student ratio and it has a good focus on internships and practical experience and 50% international students mean a broader range of opinions in tutorial discussions, best of all a 3 semester year means graduating earlier! :)

Samwise B. Computer Gaming Says : |
My course is amazing, the uni provides all the latest games to try and the facilities are modern. They recently just did up the library which has become a retro Library/cafe/lounge. The maximum amount of students they have each semester is 3000 so classes are small and you make friends easy. Great learning environment, beautiful buildings.
The best part would have to be the interaction with all different kinds of nations, at least 40% of students come from over seas, and after meeting them / becoming friends with, you get a better understanding of the world and it eliminates a lot of prejudices built up from growing up around an Australian environment. (Just a note, the majority of my friends are international). I could go on with the positives.

The staff, that a lot of the lecturers have written the books your using and are very accessible if you have questions; three semesters per year is also nice to get through your degree quicker but is quite taxing at the same time

Victoria B. Communications Says : |
There are 2 best things about Bond from my perspective! Firstly, the size. Compared to other universities, Bond uni has a smaller number of students. Throughout my degree, I made friends and still keep in contact with the majority of students in each of my classes. The lower Student to Staff ration also meant that you and your lecturers/tutors actually got to know each other. Whenever I had any questions, both academic and personal, I knew I could approach my instructors comfortably.
Like when I had my “quarter-life crisis” and didn’t know what I wanted to with my life, I approached my course advisor to seek professional advice on which subjects or in fact degree I should be studying. Not only did she give me advice from a professional point of view, but she also spoke about her personal experience and gave me the encouragement I needed. Same with a few of my other lecturers, and even after graduation I keep in touch with them.
Other than the size, I would have to say that Bond University is very “International”. Of course, almost all universities have International students as well as overseas exchange courses, but the number of these students at Bond is simply amazing. Not only have I made friends from all around the world, but it also brought a completely new dimension to my classes as we were able to gain insight into other cultures and their perspective on issues.

Nicole B. Laws/B. Criminology Says : |
The best thing about Bond Uni is the close relationships that you experience with your lecturers. You are more than just a number, you are a real person and at Bond we are treated as such. This is likely due to the small class sizes. Not to mention the campus is beautiful!

Molly B. Speech Communication Says : |
I loved the style of classes. Every class had a matching lab. I basically learned the material, then reinforced it in lab. Only science classes are like that here in the US.

Alyce B. Law/B. International Relations Says : |
Bond is an international university that exposes students to diverse cultures and encourages a healthy balance between work and play. The courses are also fast tracked meaning you can fit 3 semesters in a year and graduate earlier than most other uni's. The motto is you there for a good time not for a long time!
