The grounds are beautiful and it makes the place really relaxing to study in. Also locality would be the obvious one, going to ANU means i don't have to move elsewhere!

Yvonne Exchange Student Says : |
Direct contact to tutors, lots of clubs for social/sports activities, but personally I liked ANU most because of its character of a capital and large countrytown at the same time. Everything was in cycling distance: campus for studying, town for shopping/eating/partying and of course nature for leisure activities!

DaN B. Arts (International Relations & History) Says : |
The ANU has a well deserved reputation nationally and internationally as Australia's finest university. The social life is great, the facilities on par with other universities however it is the opportunities, world class teaching and unique opportunities open to students in the nation's capital and available to the ANU that really sets it apart from other Australian universities.

The Campus! Everything is incredibly convenient (sports, banking, food, supplies, you name it). Looks spectacular in Autumn (especially the main stretch, University Avenue)

The number of specialists and government go to people on subjects. Also a number of political practicioners not just academics. Finally the amount of money spent on facilities was wonderful.

It has a great variety of courses. Multiple libraries and access to so many resources. The location is great, because it's near the city and it's pretty easy to get a bus there every day.

There are so many things... It's a beautiful campus, the academic and general staff were great, it's so close to the centre of Canberra, there's a great feeling of belonging and community spirit.
